The fancy dinner

Tonight we went on a fancy smenzy dinner with Karin and Gavin at Semaphore. Here Sir Gavin is munching on some fish and chip.

Karin was on a diet of proteines today so she had a coke.

Nicole was enjoying the nuclear explosions across the street.

The Semaphore Hotel. That's not where we ate, we were next door at Cafe Primo.

I drove all the way home. This included doing a hillstart REVERSE out of a 60 degree angle parking, multi-lane driving and speeds up to 70Km/h! Everything went really well. Another 35 minutes in my log book :-)

  1. No handbrake U-turns, police get-away, off-road 4-wheel drive capers? Nicole is not teaching you properly in Oz driving style...

  4. @ Kees: I'm still learning! ;-P

@ Ilse: 't is allemaal niet zo moeilijk, alleen even wennen. Maar het gaat al beter. Examen kan je doen tussen 6-9 maanden na aanvragen van een Learner's permit.

@ Ma: Nou, ik ben benieuwd van wie! ;-)

  7. @ Gled: Actually not because I never drove in The NL. Well, not a car I mean. Apart from that you get used to it quite soon I think.
