During my lunch I walked (300 metres max.) down to a baguette place.
Their baguette was nice but they didn't put a whole lot on it. I asked for ham and cheese (naturally) and there were 3 slices of cheese and 3 slices of ham which is nothing on a baguette of 40cm length...

While walking to my bus stop there was some fire truck action. In total 5 trucks raced down the streets.
When I came home, Nicole had prepared a perfect dinner for us: potatoes, green beans and little meatballs. It was de-li-cious.

The fire truck has a cartoon-like quality the way it is leaning over in its haste to get around the corner. Probably an artifact of your mobile's camera, but giving a sense of speed anyhow.

@ Kona: It's getting really bad in the states, thankfully not (yet) overhere. I'm just really happy I scored a job so I can make money for us and we have a place for which we don't have to pay.
