I walked in to town in the morning to get new jeans and shoes. I succeeded :-)

In the evening I met Marianne for dinner. It was lovely to see her again. I waited at the fountain at F. plein which is my favourite spot in town.

I had a seminar from work. Most of the developers attended.

Pity we had to travel all the way to Zoetermeer. I was lucky enough to catch a ride there and back though.

It was at a place where you can also do lots of wild-water things like rafting etc.

In the evening I had dinner with my friend Eva. First time in her new house. It's a very cosy place. She doesn't have a cooker yet though so we ordered in some Indian which was delicious!

Damn you blogger for changing the interface AGAIN!

After work I went to the bank to sign up for a credit card. There was a whole family hogging both employees. In the end I was allowed to come to a desk where they only do money transfers etc.


I bought a salad at the supermarket for dinner and added a bit of chicken.

Going home after work. The sun was low already, winter will be here soon. Damn the winter. I need sun.

I cycled through town again to get to my much loved bench in The Beatrix park. When I got there some pretty girl was sitting there. Thankfully she wasn't waiting for anyone so I could sit on ~my~ bench too. We had a bit of a chat which was nice. I wish she hadn't addressed me as "u" though... (Dutch polite form of "you" used to show respect for older people...)

I saw this hanging underneath the RAI building, very pretty.

I made a fresh juice.

The fog stayed a while.

In the evening I rode my bike to my favourite place in Amsterdam.

A drop of condensation fell from my ice-cold bottle of water at work. How symbolic for all my current problems...

I had dinner with Nantko and Mic tonight. I had just told Mic to check out the dude wearing the 'fro. Later he walked over and it was an old class mate of ours; Richard Bosker! He was having a bucks night coz he is gonna get married on October 1st! I wish him a great day. It was very nice to see him again. He's a jolly fellow.

The line-up to get into Paradiso tonight was INSANE. Never seen it this long. It was mainly younger girls! It made me think if I perhaps forgot about a performance I had to do there but no...

After dinner we had a few drinks at Leidseplein. Nantko's chemo has not left him un-affected... but he was still fun and optimistic. It was good to see him.

Mic was there too.
