I went to help Mic with some DIY today. We started off OK.
But when the going got tough, Mic's dad's pre-roman empire drill died on us and we couldn't drill any more holes in the concrete to make a cupboard around his meters. In the end I bought myself a new hammer-drill which I will use in a few months hopefully to remove plaster from my back wall.
