The rest of the day

Early afternoon I went to Simone's again. In front of Central Station it's starting to look like before all the construction again.

We drove to Alkmaar where we visited my folks before we went to Egmond aan zee. It was great seeing the beach again.

We were a bit early so we had time to play with the camera and make silly pictures.

Ilse and Cassandra joined us for dinner. It was a lovely evening with all these lovely ladies :-)

Dessert. One row for me and one for Simone.

Yes, it's chocolate mousse with a chocolate spoon ;-)

After dinner we walked through the village. This is the old light house.

Simone was trying very hard to spoil my photo. #fail ;-P

The Edelbrock 1483 kit

Today I picked up the throttle lever kit that let's me use my new carb in my car. The throttle cable and the kick-down rod connect to this.

Matches perfectly.

That's what it will look like.

Summer is coming!

I took photos on my way home. The weather was lovely. Summer is on its way!

Students live in those converted containers.

You see more and more pairs of bired. I also notice a lot of birds looking for little twigs to make a nest with.

The new ferry dock got painted the other day.

The building at the end of my street.

I went on the crosstrainer again tonight. It was harder than I remembered.

Voting

I woke up half an hour early today so that I could go vote before going to work. It was foggy and quiet when I left the house around 7:20.

I think voting is important so I always go.

I'm a member of the Dutch Mustang & Ford Forum. It's a nice community with quite a few knowledgeable people.

In America there's another forum more specifically aimed at 71-73 Mustangs.

The Edelbrock 1406

My new carburetor arrived today and it's looking alright! It's a remanufactured Edelbrock 1406. 600 CFM with an electric choke.

Front view.

Top view - choke closed.

Top view - choke open.

Choke-side view.

Rear view.

Throttle-lever-side view.

It was fun playing around with it, figuring out what everything is for. It really isn't as complicated as it looks.

The Mach 1

I went for a run early morning. My knee held up pretty OK. I hope it will still be OK tomorrow... The run went well and it makes me feel great all day. I love running! Seriously, I never ever believed I'd say that hahaha.

Today I bought my first Mustang "Mach 1" ;-)

I also bought this 2010 GT500.

In the evening, Milan made us something sweet. It was niiiiiiiiiiiice :-)
