The Croatian Food and Wine Festival

This building called "The Armadillo" is the Adelaide velodrome. Aparently lots of dutch cyclists come here to train.

The Armadillo, just as the Croatian Club lies on a dead-end piece of road which is completely desolated at night. Apart from bogans that do funny tricks with the backtyres of their cars. We only know because of the stripes (and a burned out car that had a lamppole sticking out of it).

Today Nicole and I went to the Club because the Croatian Food and Wine Festival was on and Vicky, Nic's mum was dancing with her folkdance group. Before they started she was happy to see us sit at the top of the main stand.

There were a lot of croatian people. Some caught my attention more than others... The girl in the middle must be a BIG Paris Hilton fan I reckon.

Croatian colours everywhere of course.

This girl was singing a few croatian songs and she did that mighty fine a have to say.

Here we see Vicky's dance group. Aparently that black floor was so hot that it hurt your feet.

In the evening we walked around a bit and passed this shop that sells lot of natural energy solutions.

One day I will have solarpower. I think it's the way to go here. So much light all day long and it's only heating our roofs. If you can run your airconditioner on 1 panel you are already saving a LOT of energy. We will visit this shop soon I think!
