Meeting Nicole

This evening after work I met up with Nicole and some friends (Kees in this photo) to have dinner and a few drinks.

The walk

I went for a walk in the Amsterdamse bos (Amsterdam forrest) with Simone and her kids. The weather was great.

In the evening Marjolein came over for dinner and afterwards we went to Mulligans. Jon, Alex and Kees were there as well. We laughed a lot :-)

There was a session as well. Some balkan musicians were attending, they were pretty good!

Kees saw the light!

I had the day off today and went to Kees' new place to help him putting the lights up on the ceiling. The ceiling was rock-hard concrete... There were 8 lights needing a total of 19 holes to be drilled. My right hand which I used to push up the drill, is best left alone. It's pretty sore :-/

But, Kees was very happy with all his lights. And I was happy because I got shit done for someone. I like getting shit done.

Kees rewarded me with some very nice whisky before he took me out to dinner.

Halloween 2013

In the evening Marjolein came over for dinner and then we went to Mulligans for halloween. She wasn't the only devil, Paddy was one too!

Dinner @ Thaicoon

Went out to dinner for Marjolein's upcoming birthday last night. Jos, Danny and yours truly here.

Dinner was at the "Thaicoon", a thai restaurant close to where Kees lives. Here we see yours truly, Marjolein, Kees and Gerrit. The food was great and so was the company :-)

Afterwards we went to Kees' place to sample a few whiskies. This "Hibiki" is a Japanese whisky of 17 years. Was very nice! (About 100 Euros per bottle)

This is a Scottish single malt from Blair Athol. Was OK.

After work I met up with Kees, Danny and Jud. Jud piloted a flight from the USA to Amsterdam and had an evening to spend with friends here. I imagine he's got a lot of friends in different places.

The pot luck dinner / Ewa's birthday

I had a dinner with lots of friends tonight. We all made something and I brought some apple pie and I made carpaccios.
