My fountain

I had to get my half-yearly dental check. My dentist has this sign in the waiting room. I'm not so sure what to think of the icon...

After the dentist I was going to meet Eva for dinner to catch up a bit. Since I was a bit early I sat at my favourite fountain a while.

Eva and I met at I Trulli, an Italian restaurant that I love. They have a very large tropical aquarium.
I had carpaccio and pizza and it was delicious. It was nice catching up with Eva, a lot of things had happened since I last saw her.

The fountain

I had to go to the dentist for a check-up. My super cute dentist had a good look but couldn't find anything wrong. Because I clean my teeth better than ever I probably don't ever need to see the dental hygienist again :-)
She also removed a sharp edge from my root canal tooth and smoothened the surface a bit coz the filling was a bit too big. All is good now. Almost a pity I have to wait another 6 months ;-)

Then I had a choice to make: Going home or walk in to town. I chose town. Next to the Nederlandsche Bank they have done up the park a lot! Looks real nice now.

I walked to the fountain.

It's my favourite place in town.

And finally I caved in and went to the snackbar where I always used to get my chips, the Belgian opposite the Febo in the Reguliersbreestraat. It was there that I also felt the gravitational pull from Mulligans and it sucked me right in. Jon K. was there too and we had a few drinks together which was fun. Miriam came in as well, had a wee chat with her too. After 2 whiskies I thought it was time to go home.

Vollari

One of my colleagues would rather drive a Ferrari I think ;-)

I went to our office in Drachten today for a meeting. Colleagues there like plants better than in Amsterdam. I like.

The Drachten office.

Back at the work-ranch a new doorstep is being made.

When I came home I watched an episode of Bottom.

Later I went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned. It wasn't bad but still more painful then having cavities drilled away!

I was early so I sat by the fountain for a few minutes.

The hidden art

I went to the doctor this morning and found that there was hidden art in front of it in the bushes! I actually like it a lot.

Late arvo I had to go to the dentist but I was way early so I went to the fountain since that is close.

It rained a lot while I was there.

When I came home early evening I thought I'd do a tiny bit of DIY.

I put shelves up. Ugly but very effective shelves.

The devil drives a Ford.

It was before eight o'clock in the morning and a line-up was growing in Rundle mall. They must've been giving clothes away for free or something.

Awesome lunch.

I took a closer look at the fountain and liked what I saw. So I photographed it. That's what happens with things I like to see.

On our way home we drove behind the devil. People with good eyes may pay extra attention to the detail that is a sticker on the back window...

Speaking of the devil... Geert Wilders made it on Australian World News tonight.

Space Invaders!

A new day starts.

Day three of the internal course at work.

I found a space invader on my screen. It wasn't actually meant to be one but it makes the whole gig a hell of a lot more fun when you think it's a space invader...

My faithful colleagues Melvin and Luke. They are always good for a laugh :-)

The firies came out for no reason yet again.

I just love photographing the fountain at Victoria Square.

There were lots of kids AGAIN! Luckily not that many this time.

I sat under this tree. I like trees and trees like me. I can feel it.

On my way home, waiting for the bus. The sky was crying.

Wicked photo action from a bumpy bus. Must've hit one of 10,000 potholes in the road here...

The Borg

Cocky-girl, pretty as ever.

Cocky-boy, always reminds me of a professional upper class drunk. I love him. This guy is over 40 years old.

Time to hit the streets.

Borg drones on their way to work.

Borg Cube.

Borg Queen.. oh no! It's Nicole ;-)

If you don't know what this is you haven't looked at my blog the past year ;-P

Beef masala.

I think I own the last Mulligans bomber jacket on earth.

Dinner.

Fountain: Off.

The fountain at Victoria square was turned off for maintenance during lunch. It was now even quieter.

I only worked half a day today. Nicole picked me up early afternoon and we had a coffee at Scoozi's.

Across the street there were a few people walking with face masks on. The pigs ;-)

Nicole after a cup of coffee and a bacci chocolate.

Happy

Guess who pulled up next to us on the way to work? And he didn't even notice. After all our car is only bright red...

This was today's lunch-friend.

The fountain was on again.

The Christmas tree is still being decorated.

After work I sat on a bench on the outside of Victoria Square while waiting for Nicole. This is the view straight ahead.

View to the right, where Nicole will pull-up.

View to the left, towards the Christmas tree.

I was happy the weekend started. Does it show?

At least Nicole looked happy. Unfortunately I had accidentally put my phone in "Russian 0.5 mega pixel" mode so this and the next photo (and a whole bunch I deleted) look crap.

The beach was beautiful again. I gotta have fresh air after a week in the office.
