So long Cocky-girl...
I brought birthday cake to work. A big fat fruit flan with a lot of cream and custard and fruit. Delicious.
Another day, another fake fire alarm.
Down in to the Woolworths pit of hell during lunch.
There was a guy playing a piano in Rundle mall.
In the next suburb there was a pretty big, REAL fire.
And when we came home... somebody was missing. We found the food-door of cocky-girl's cage open and cocky girl was gone. I am wondering if I forgot to close it...

The visitor
There was a big commotion in our garden this morning. Cocky-boy sounded the alarm. When I looked out the door, it became obvious: Cocky-girl had a nosy visitor! Another, wild, sulphur crested cockatoo had spotted her and checked her out! It was awesome to see this in front of our door. However, I feel sad for her because she will never have a companion...
I had a hair cut :-)
Later we drove to Hahndorf.
Frequent blog readers will understand the sole purpose of our Hahndorf visits ;-)
Driving back towards town through the Adelaide Hills. Big sky.
We also drove to Henley beach.
The wind was strong, it was cold too but always such a pleasure to be there.

The Cocky girl-show
During the morning it started raining very hard. A bit too hard for my liking but it created sprays that came in Cocky girl's cage and she absolutely loves it.
She started making lots of little sounds of joy and she was constantly spreading her wings to catch every little drop she could. I have never seen her move like that. She looked like a chicken! It was absolutely fantastic to see her enjoy the rain :-)
Wet.

Moving offices.
Bye bye old office.
Hello new office! Yes, I'm definitely moving up in the world :-)
Yesterday we gave the birds some broccoli. Cocky-boy doesn't like it but cocky-girl loves it. She doesn't eat it though, she thinks it's better used as a soap. All morning she clutched the broccoli, taking little nibbles and then rubbing it all over her. I think every single feather has been coated with broccoli-soap...
It was a very mild winter day today.
In the evening I made a salad with chicken.

The Borg
Cocky-girl, pretty as ever.
Cocky-boy, always reminds me of a professional upper class drunk. I love him. This guy is over 40 years old.
Time to hit the streets.
Borg drones on their way to work.
Borg Cube.
Borg Queen.. oh no! It's Nicole ;-)
If you don't know what this is you haven't looked at my blog the past year ;-P
Beef masala.
I think I own the last Mulligans bomber jacket on earth.
Dinner.
