Dabbawalla

Mohit had taken leftover Indian food to work which he heated up for us for lunch. It was THE best ever.

My two Indian colleagues Melvin and Mohit. I think they're a little bit crazy, but in a good way! ;-)

After lunch we discussed a funny profession only found in Mumbai, India: the Dabbawalla. A dabbawalla is a person bringing lunch boxes from A to B. So for about $5 a month you can have the dabbawalla pick your lunch up from home, bring it over around lunch time (and they are incredibly accurate!) and in the afternoon he comes to collect the empty container and brings it to your house again. More info on Wikipedia.

There was another protest across the street today. It only lasted 15 minutes.

After work I sat on the grass at Victoria Square while waiting for Nicole to meet me at the Central Market. I was close to the Aboriginal flag so I made a close shot. Finally a decent photo.

It was nice and quiet where i was sitting. Everybody was going home.

I was deciding on the blue pill or the red pill...

The market was pretty busy. Lots of people go shopping after work apparently.

I didn't know these guys were still around!

There's a pretty good flower shop.

At the market we bought tomatoes and basil to make bruschetta at home.

I made bruschetta for the first time and it was soooooooo good :-)
