My colleague Luke recently went to this hotel called Hotel Richmond in Rundle mall and thought it was my kinda style.
And he was 100% correct!

Natalie had potatoes, mushrooms and broccolini. All VERY tasty.
Luke had home made tortellini. Absolutely beautiful.
I have finally found a place that does carpaccio. It was my starter: herb crusted beef carpaccio with beetroot aiolo and wild rocket. It was sensational.
Main was organic chicken breast rolled with pistachio stuffing and baby vegetables. Hmmmmmmm.Lunch was fantastic. Also a fantastic surprise because I did not expect to see this kind of fine food here. And the company was just as fine of course :-)
On our way back to the office there was a band performing. It got quite busy!
In the afternoon we had our group photo taken at work. Bunch of geeks.

Maar tegenwoordig dat eten in een restaurant... waar zijn de volle borden gebleven en de schaaltjes met groenten? Gekookte groenten wel te verstaan, niet gestoomde groenten.
Het is niet favoriete eten zo. Geef mij maar een varkenshaas met champignon roomsaus en friet en groenten. Heerlijk, maar zeldzaam tegenwoordig.

@ Ilse: Borden in Australia zijn TE vol. Dat is respectloos naar de diren die er voor geslacht zijn en het laat mensen ook over-eten. Is niet goed. De groenten zijn niet gestoomd maar gecaramelliseerd. Dat is heel langzaam bakken. En het smaakte fantastisch. Voor jouw zullen we overal een dikke klodder mayo er bovenop gooien dan, okee? ;-P
@ ma: Je begrijpt het volkomen. We gaan het niet elke dag doen trouwens want het was stevig aan de prijs. Meer iets voor een avondje uit :-)
