I needed shopping, so it was raining. This is my street btw.
I needed to cross this bridge, so it rained on the bridge.
Surprised it wasn't raining in the doctor's waiting room.
I spotted this poster. Several software companies are making money off of this. I cannot believe it hasn't been implemented yet, they've been trying for 5 years now and it's still no-where...

What exactly is the L-EPD? Never heard of it...
@ Angeli: I think is stands for "Landelijk Electronisch Patienten Dossier". It brings patient details online for easier, fast and more detailed lookup for which ever "zorgverlener" who needs to see it. It is potentially a very good idea but there are serious privacy concerns...
Aye, there are indeed HUGE security risks with eHealth (the name used to describe the computerization of medical records).
Aside from the obvious concerns about zorgverleners getting their greedy paws on confidential patient files, what bothers me even more is that 'scripts (prescriptions) can be sent from doctor to pharmacist without the former needing to put his signature on a patient referral. If a patient gets the wrong medicine or dosage and they have an adverse reaction, it's difficult to place accountability on anyone (doctor? pharmacist? dispenser?) if no one has signed a legally binding document.
The greedy hands thing could be a concern. Digital documents can be signed as well, that not a concern for me.
