France - Day 1

Today marjolein and I went on vacation to France. On the map above are the places we planned to visit. First Paris then Bayeux (Normandy), St Malo (Britanny), Perros Guirec (Britanny) and Paris again.

We had an early arvo Thalys to Paris.

It only took 3.5 hours!

Because we only had 1 night here we quickly went out after finding our hotel and dumping our bags. The hotel was close to the Eiffel tower and I planned a little walk along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées up to the Arc de Triomphe and then to the Eiffel tower and to the hotel again. We reached the Arc early evening.

It got dark while we were at the Eiffel tower but that made the little lights all the better :-)
