Holiday!

Today the four of us will drive to the South of France, to Vaison la Romaine, for a two week vacation. Just incase the navigation quits and the map will fly out of the window I made screenshots. You could call me a control freak to a certain extent.

So first we do Maastricht, Liege, Letzenbuerg. The down to Metz and Nancy.

After Nancy the peage down South start which we'll follow through Dijon, Macon, Lyon and Valence  and just before Orange we'll exit.

And just like last year the take off was just as difficult because we first needed to see the Opel-dealer, this time for one of our braking lights. Simone's mom found out while driving behind us as we drove off, all packed and ready.
However, after leaving the garage and just getting on or close to the highway, Simone remembered that she forgot something that we needed to go back for. So all in all this got us delayed for over an hour, just like last year.

And also like last year, somewhere in the South of Holland, I had to make an emergency stop because of traffic ahead braking hard due to a truck ahead of us blowing one tyre. I actually braked harder than last year. At least everybody was awake again then ;-)

After all this it was smooth sailing :-)
