The roadworks

Recently, close-by, trees have been cut and certain areas have been made ready for work but we had no idea what was going on. Today I looked things up and found out about changes in our neighbourhood.

This is how they're going to make the new intersection that will replace the current "situation". I think it's an improvement.

And here they are finally going to make some traffic lights. It's one of two ways out of our neighbourhood and when it's busy it can be a real pain getting on the road below that leads up to the freeway.

The only shame is all the trees that they need to cut for this. But they promised to re-plant new ones. We shall see...
