Karin came over with Mason briefly. Mason was very excited to see us. It was difficult for him to sit still and stay put.
I was very excited to see him too :-)
Then it was time for the dishes.
Then it was time for the laundry.
Then it was time to refill the bird food.
And then I took a book to read a bit on the veranda in the sun.

At 3 o'clock it was beer-time! This one was very fruity. I liked it very much.
Nicole picked me up after work and we drove to Henley for a spontaneous visit to the Thai Orchid.
I worked at home during the morning. During lunch I took the bus to work.
I got off just before the city and walked the rest.
In the morning I heard cocky-girl making a lot of noise so I went to have a look what was going on. As I open the door I saw a big bird carrying prey flying from the mandarin tree on to our veggie patch. Upon closer inspection it appeared to be a collared sparrowhawk. And it had actually caught a sparrow (NL: musje). When I got as close as 4 metres it flew to the next garden, the little sparrow still trying to escape from it's big claws. It was amazing to see.
In the afternoon I finally went to the office again after 3.5 weeks. To celebrate I bought doughnuts.
When Nicole picked me up it was dark.
The day was most uneventful. Even the pigeons were bored. At least I managed to get 8 hours of work in...
... and I made a salad. It was great.
