The scale

The Adelaide sky this morning. This is not exactly uncommon.

I was going out today. First time in THREE weeks!

We went to the Central Market...

And in to the city.

I went to work to 'test ride' my chair after being away for three weeks. It went very well. My plant was happy to see me again. It looked good. Bless my colleagues for looking after it.

I bought a little scale today. It can weigh 1-5000 grams. It's got a glass top so it's easy to clean.

And it's very thin. I'm very happy with it.

In the evening I watched another episode of the Muppet Show ;-)

The chooks

I went for a walk in the morning. Just to get some fresh air and some exercise.

I walked past the grain store. They also sell chooks. They're beautiful but not overly brainy. They all wanted to eat from the same spot even though there is plenty of food right next to them...

Good times Terry, good times.

Mason had a great time today tearing apart a mattress.

I was having a great time eating a lunch dessert.

The Cocky girl-show

During the morning it started raining very hard. A bit too hard for my liking but it created sprays that came in Cocky girl's cage and she absolutely loves it.

She started making lots of little sounds of joy and she was constantly spreading her wings to catch every little drop she could. I have never seen her move like that. She looked like a chicken! It was absolutely fantastic to see her enjoy the rain :-)

Wet.

The sky as i was walking to the bakery.

The oainting we bought from Hassan about 5-6 years ago. I still like it very much.

Moving offices.

Bye bye old office.

Hello new office! Yes, I'm definitely moving up in the world :-)

Yesterday we gave the birds some broccoli. Cocky-boy doesn't like it but cocky-girl loves it. She doesn't eat it though, she thinks it's better used as a soap. All morning she clutched the broccoli, taking little nibbles and then rubbing it all over her. I think every single feather has been coated with broccoli-soap...

It was a very mild winter day today.

In the evening I made a salad with chicken.

The beach

Finally, more than 2 weeks after my operation I went for a drive with Nicole again. The beach is my favourite place here so that's where we went to.

Passing Semaphore.

A bit further down the coast...

Larg's jetty!

The gulls are still there.

Lovely beach where the land slides in to the water.

Enjoy my 'happy' face ;-)

The beach was a bit dirty with dead sea weed but still beautiful.

Bling bling.

Our shadows.

We had fish and chips. I hadn't had any in ages. There is always too much chips so we feed that to the birds. I like to hand-feed them, it's awesome. They must've missed me because they were daring like never before. One actually stole from the box and they came really close today, I could feel the wind from their flapping. Awesome :-)

The chimneys I photographed on my very first holiday here.

At home one of the doves was around.
