The workplace du jour... I had to yank out the old turn signal wiring.
Taking out the old turn signal...
... and put in the new one. Only thing is I couldn't hook up the cable yet because I'm unable to get it through the steering column like the old one. I may have to drop the column a bit. Will give it a think.
Today we had elections for a new government in The Netherlands. I voted for a progressive, social and very green party. They won 3 seats and went from 2 to 5 seats in parliament (150 seats total).
Due to a 7 car accident a major highway was closed for nearly 3 hours. I left work early but got stuck and decided to just enjoy the lovely sun in my new car which has a nice sound system. Because it was election-day I listened to a 24/7 news channel where the elections were being discussed.
It didn't take long before cars were illegally driving back down the highway ramp.
It took 2 hours to get to the right-most windmill. The total wait was 2.5 hours. People started walking their dogs :-)
First things first! Our local supermarket DEEN has this awesome coffee now! It's natural, fair trade and CHEAP! Not to mention that the cups actually work better in the machine than many others from other brands.
I took my new car through the carwash. There was a scary guy in my car.
I went to my Mustang today to work on a few things.
I tried to make the tag on my Mustang's alternator visible but it's too far gone I'm afraid...
The main goal was to replace the turning signal switch. Just disconnecting it took two bloody hours. The connector is in a nearly impossible place under the dash and also it's been there for 43 years so yeah, it was nicely stuck....
With plenty of time left I had to give up though because I don't have the tools to get these bolts out. Crap!
