The fence try-out

I started thinking or how to put my fence together. I bought some paint for it well.

In the evening I made pancakes.

They were yummmmmmy. Some with bacon and some plain.

The oak tree

We had a little leak at work. Was fixed quickly.

The reception desk never fails to lure people. Kim had to try.

Paul stuck his head through for the Nth time. He loves it I think.

The other day, at home, I had noticed an oak tree growing from between two concrete plates behind my house. Quite an amazing place to start growing from. I love trees so I wanted to give it a better home.

I gave it a big pot with fresh dirt. I hope he'll like it.

In the evening I went in to town with Marjolein. I had a very nice evening. We had dinner at Waga's, coffee and cake at Schiller's and drink at Mulligans :-)

On our way to Mulligans we walked past Mr Tong's restaurant to see if Collins was there, but he was not.

Reception duty

Colleagues still love hangin' at the reception in my new office. Here's George...

... and here's Geert. I think they're all secretly jealous of my new awesome spot. Or... they come to check if there's cake...

Three little piggies

I worked from home today so that my mom could deliver my new toy; a Black and Decker Workmate. She also brought the wood I need for making my fence door, which I can do on the Workmate!

Nic paid me a surprise visit. We discussed her latest entrepreneurial endeavours.

I fixed my rose a bit too.

In the evening I went to Marjolein.

She has a balcony that I like very much. On it were three little piggies, err pigeons stuffing themselves.

The bar

The last few floats. It's funny seeing them come in to existence and then they disappear again.

Sylvester hanging on our bar. Pardon me, I mean reception desk of course. I brought cakes with me as a thank you for Sylvester, Sam and Cees because they helped me move office last week :-) The cakes went down very well.

Ocean Orc is back for more work. It's a big ship. Yeah.

My new phonebook was gracefully delivered at my doorstep. I feel like starting a riot about this myself...

The reception window

Construction on the new roof for the bus station is still at full swing. It looks nice.

Gay parade floats are being dismantled again. I heard people had a good time. I'm glad about that.

In my new office there is a small reception window. Tom was nr. 43 or so to stick his head through the window and put in an order. I wish I had filmed all the people who did the same. Would make a fun reel.

For the first time I noticed these birds on the Kinkerbrug. Very nice detail!

After dinner at home for a change I walked to my tram stop to go to squash and I noticed this lion's head above me.

On the way back from squash it rained....

George on Star trek!

Surprise! Surprise! It's George! On Star trek! Quote from Wikipedia: "Alexander appeared on Star Trek: Voyager on the episode "Think Tank" playing a genius alien named Kurros who was trying to get Seven of Nine to serve on his ship". Needless to say this was a mighty fine episode :-)

I then started crafting a piece of wood to use as a holder for my new outside sensor light. It sits in a corner so I had to be a little bit creative with the positions of the screws.

In the end everything fit perfectly.
