Re-locating my pony

I went to get my car out of hibernation today. There it is, waiting for me in the sun.
Real American muscle (from 1973 ;-) )

Turning the key and starting the engine is the coolest part (if it runs!). The battery was full and it started running quickly.

I drove in to town and stopped at Nicole's cake shop.

Then I continued to the new garage where I can pick it up whenever I like. Expensive but better because it's easy to get to and I have my own key to the garage.

Then I took the train home again.

Riding

I took today off. Too tired and really felt like riding my bike.

I made a bit of salad for dinner and used some of the truffle salami and truffle cheese that Corinne brought me.

CS-Squash 2013

I hosted the annual squash tournament for my work tonight. I started doing this 3 years ago and love organising the whole night. This year a record number of 37 people came along. 32 of us had dinner first.

The first 2 hours I had people play different opponents for points. During the last hour there was a knock-out tournament.

It was a great night and everybody liked it a lot :-)

Walking with Inge

I met Inge this afternoon and showed her around town. It was a lovely walk with her and we even had beer on a sunny terrace :-)

All was good.

Hello pretty little birds :-)

Walking past the birdies in the morning. I always say hello to them.

There was cake in the main building so we walked over. I was too lazy to put on my coat. It looks warm but it was freezing.

Sun tan much?

I met Gerrit late arvo, after I put the girls on their train home. We went for a pint, then some food...

... and another pint. Gerrit was trying to get a sun tan while drinking his Guinness.

The tour

My breakfast.

... and going back in to town to meet the girls.

Took them around town a bit today. First stop: The red light district. I'd like to add that this was BY REQUEST, not my idea ;-) I think there are nice places to see for tourists.

The girls at the old nunnery.

Cori photographing Francesca at the Nightwatch.

We had dinner at Haesje Claes.

Graffiti of Vincent Van Gogh.

Graffiti of Einstein with a supermarket-bag.

Fun fair.
