Mr. Tong's.

First things first. I installed World of Warcraft again, touched all my characters and am now ready to get back in on 25ms latency instead of 600ms...

In the evening my very, very, very kind friend Stephens Collins invited me for dinner at Mr. Tong's.

That's Stephen on the left and Daniel on the right.

Marina, Jon and Amy.

Kees and yours truly.

Barry, Anna and Nantko.

We had to wait for our food a bit long but when it came out, there was plenty!

Yanko also dropped in.

Madame Tussauds

This morning/afternoon I made good progress working on my power supply. The circuit works alright (it performs in 2 scales: 0.6-7V and 3-30V) but I do have to check out the heat situation. The end transistor (not in the picture) is going to need a lot of cooling and possibly the bridge rectifier too.

In the evening we had a very nice BBQ at Karin and Gavin's place. We stopped at the new park nearby first. They've been working on it for very long and it's now finished and al the animals are back.

Mason was happy as always and he couldn't keep his hands off of me.

Here we see Amy and Ash posing with a wax statue of Gavin that we borrowed from Madame Tussauds ;-)

Merry Christmas!

Early morning kitchen action preparing Christmas lunch.

Gavin also preparing for Christmas lunch ;-)

It was a beautifull Christmas day. Dry, sunny, blue sky, 26 degrees C in the end. Very nice indeed.

Nicole cooked up a HUGE amount of food. I can't begin to tell what there was, it was fantastic!

One of my plates...

In the evening we went to visit Karin and Gavin who made a very nice cheese (and more) platter. Gav's offspring was there (Rhys and Ash) and Amy, Ash's fianceé. It was nice to meet them.
