The cockies

Early morning a few cockies were waking up the neighbourhood.

They were all hanging out around the church here.

I had a good run on the cross trainer again today. 10.7km in 30 minutes burning 27 calories.

I'm also trying to eat healthier. I was testing this for lunch now. Toast with salmon. Very nice. But whole meal bread next time instead of white bread.

Karin and Gavin came over for a BBQ at our place. Gav's BBQ skills were still top notch, the food was excellent and it was nice to hang out with them a bit.

Today felt like Thursday...

There were pan-fluters in Rundle mall during lunch.

My friends came to say hello while I was eating my lunch in Victoria Square.

At the cafe where we had a very nice dinner I photographed this dude's hair. It's so fucked up, I have no words for it. He thought it was fashionable. I think it looks like he's had the back of his head rubbed in shit and let it go hard.

The chocolate sprinkles

Toast with chocolate sprinkles for breakfast.

I bought AND drank my FIRST Coke Zero.

We were very busy today, you know, you're in the middle of getting shit done. What better can happen then a bloody fake fire alarm?! So the whole building evacuated to the designated gathering place.

The shirts.

So a few people did indeed pickup the challenge and got creative. These are the edited photo's in order of arrival. I think they are all very cool and I thank all the wannabe artists who sent something in a lot for making the effort!

Artist: Kees Huyser.

Artist: Renate Greiner.

Artist: Ilse Koopman.

Artist: Win Farrell.

The cup of coffee

When I left for work this morning two doves were sitting on the branch in front of the door. They were cleaning each other.

On my last bit of the walk to work I passed this garbage truck with the back opened. I thought I'd quickly snap a photo because you don't get to see this often.

At work I put my coffee mug in the coffee jar and for some reason thought it was absolutely the coolest thing I'd seen today.

Looking at the pictures I still think it's the coolest thing I've seen today. I went to lots of colleagues to show them. I don't know what came over me.

Lunch time but there was something funny with my camera lens. It applied the "pencil" effect but I didn't do anything for it. I think the lens was dirty...

After work we went to the Thai restaurant Lemon grass. I skipped the starter and only had grilled Barramundi with a LOT of vegetables.

Paint my shirt!

Today I'm organising a little contest. I'd like to ask you to download one of the below photos and draw your own version of the shirt. Any returned photos with a different shirt will get a honorary mention on my blog the day it's received!

You can also create a whole new shirt if you like or draw a hat, glasses whatever you like. Eternal fame could be yours!

Toastie-time.

Toastie alarm!

Four bloody fire trucks. must've been a lot of toasties burning.

Lunch was in Victoria Square. There were more people on the lawn than usual.

After work we went to the Bombay Bicycle Club for some pub grub.

When we came home I walked 8.5km in 25 minutes on our cross-trainer with an avarage speed of 22km/h and apparently I burned 169 calories. Not bad.

The smaller breakfast

We went to Scoozi's early morning to get some breakfast.

It was nice and quiet again. All the previous weeks were very busy because of the races and festivals.

My breakfast was: Muffin with salmon and raisin toast.

When we went to get the car filled up I spotted this car which instantly reminded me of my friend Jon in Amsterdam. He sometimes organises daiquiri parties. Very nice ones too :-)
