I had lunch with Nicole at cafe Edel. They make a wonderful cappuccino.
That's the terrace we sat at. It was very nice in the sun.
We both needed shopping so we did that as well.

When I came home I tried to take down the dragon Onyxia with 24 other people but we only had time for two failed attempts, which was a pity. All the people you see in this screen are REAL. It's a 25-person effort and if one or two people screw up it's a waste of everybody's time and effort basically. Still fun though :-)
In the evening I felt a need to go out again. I just didn't want to stay indoors. So I asked Nic again if she felt like eating somewhere and we went to James gate in town.
It was dark when we went home. The moon stood above the canal.

Salsa?
A very nicely converted building near my work. I believe it's home to MTV Netherlands and other TV stations.
Trees are budding.
I went to Mulligans after work. Because the folk band is stranded due to the Iceland volcano, they hired some SALSA band. I didn't like it much.
Magners is offering new pint glasses.

Meet Mr. Boots!
Waiting for my ferry, the Aida Blu came by again!
It's just a gigantic ship. It never fails to impress me. It's about 12 floors tall. That's just crazy tall...
I met my colleague Bjorn on the way in. He brought his dog today!
Gemeente pils.

This is Boots. Boots is an English Bulldog, two years old. He's a bull alright. But soooo cute. He stayed at the office today (unfortunately not in my room...). Bjorn took his blanky and food bowls with him as well so Boots must've had a field-day.

Mmmmmmmh... slobber slobber.
He must have thought there was food in my camera (phone).

Boots is a very good boy. Very well behaved and he listens pretty well too.

Being around a dog like this always makes me happy. They are just awesome creatures.

The professional plumber.
Nicole sent me this picture. It's a LEGO McDonalds meal!
The plumber came by this morning to unblock my kitchen drain. He had to actually go all the way (10 metres!!!) and encountered two blockages. It cost 156 euros but it was worth the money.
He was from Aqua Plus and their service was great! They even carry their own pin-machine to pay electronically! For the first time they were professional in their communication, their work and their payment system. They were on time too! And as a bonus they actually fixed my problem! WOW!!!
Because I had to wait for the plumber I worked from home today. That's my Windows desktop from work running on my big fat Apple Mac. It worked well.
After work I walked in to town to get my guitar neck bend a bit. I went to Muller, where I purchased my guitar about 10 years ago. They did it for free!
After that I went to Mulligans to drink some Magners cider. Alex, Siard, Freddy and Max were there and it was lovely and quiet and peaceful. We had some good laughs together, it was fun.
The coins in my wallet made exactly 10 euros! That is incredibly impressive after three pints...

The Sea Shepherd.
Approaching the ferry this morning.
We started the day with some freshly squeezed orange juice.
On the ferry back home these guys were standing in front of me. The guy on the left was wearing a jacket from Sea Shepherd and the guy on the right a jacket printed with dollar bills...
I signed for my mortgage today. Very definitive that feels. Closing the door on Australia for years to come. I had no plans to go back but it still feels shit. No regrets though.

The cold.

My effing sink is blocked...
I woke up with a sore throat and a small cold. I was tired and fearing a headache. To make my morning the best ever my kitchen sink decided to start blocking completely. I don't know why. I am not flushing any funny shit nor am I flushing big things. Bottom-line: I can't use my kitchen sink anymore. Need to call landlord tomorrow...
Serenity now... serenity now... serenity now... (insanity later)
I flew my Tauren around a bit in a helicopter today.
In the afternoon my mom and dad came around. I cooked them dinner. They liked it.
I also had cake to go with the coffee. Yummmmm :-)
