The boga del agua

At my work I want more plants. At home I need to get rid of plants in preparation of moving out.
So I packed the biggest two in a big fat IKEA bag and carried them to work. That was a bit harder than I thought but it went pretty OK.

And there is one of them, happily sitting on my desk. It felt very nice to have the plant there. Funny that I actually got this plant when it was only 4cm tall almost 20 years ago at my first ever job.

A parcel arrived for me today. Wonder what's in it! ;-)

Oh, it's a "boga del agua" and gasket and also a thermostat, exactly what I need! :-)

The logo / the moving boxes

My company's logo is now on our new building. I do feel a bit proud to be working with ChipSoft to be honest.

I've struck a not-so-standard deal with somebody who wants to buy my appartment. If all goed according to plan I might be out in less than four months, just before the summer holiday. I'd be thrilled if that happens! In preparation I bought 5 moving boxes tonight, if only to enjoy the idea of moving away from here.

My oak tree

My little oak tree is doing well again. It's now growing a second set of leaves. Kinda like a real tree!

The thermostat housing

I went to Zwanenburg  straight after work. I took the train down coz it's easier from my work.

My thermostat needs replacing so I wanted to investigate where that is located. This is it apparently. The hose is attached to the thermostat housing. Looks a bit rusty...

I'd also like to clean up the engine bay a little. All these wires everywhere don't look nice.

The Firebird

I ripped this photo of the interwebs. If I ever have the chance it will be my second muscle car. I love it. And it will look nice next to my Mustang :-)

Walking in the Twiske

I went on an early morning walk to the Twiske. It was nice and quiet, well, apart from all the joggers that is ;-) The construction of some new houses is going well.

Getting closer.

This is the Twiske, a lovely piece of natural habitat for lots of different animals, me being one of them ;-)

The Twiske mill.

The back of the mill reminds me of the back of old sailing ships.
