I met Ilse and Cassie in town for some coffee and cake and dinner. It was very nice catching up.
We finally managed to get their gift for me in my possession. We kinda failed at that twice before...

This funny bug creature was sitting on the window. It was awesome when I tried to photograph it and couldn't hold my camera steady, it looked like it was an alien flying through the sky.

Temptation arrived at my desk mid-morning by the hand of my colleague Sylvester. Damn sugar bananas. One of THE most "Now I can't stop eating" candy's the world has ever seen... I only had 3.
Around 5PM a big fire broke out across the water from us. Apparently an oil pipe had sprung a leak and caught fire.
Bye bye old Commodore 128. I learned how to program on this beauty. Bought it off of a choir mate for 50 guilders. Lovely machine. I had it for ages, moved with me to and from Australia. But I need the space so it had to go. I wanted to sell it but it's not giving a TV signal anymore. So this morning it ended up in the bin...

They moves Carolien to a new spot. I think they're done with the interior and are now going to work on the exterior. Was quite noisy today.

The day started with an iPhone software update that improves the calculation of the signal strength indication. This is Apple's "fix" for the reception issue with the iPhone 4...
In the evening I walked to Mulligans.
I like walking the canals.
Dinner.
There was a gigantic session tonight. There were almost more musicians than customers.
