First decent photo shoot with my pony

Today was a great day to let the pony out. I needed to empty my LPG tank a bit more and managed to get it down to 3%. That's OK for removing the LPG setup later this year or the next. On the way to meeting Marjolein for a ride (she had not seen the car yet...) I stopped for a little photo shoot.

These are the nicest photos I took:

First picture ever of me posing with my Mustang. Still no regrets :-)

When we brought back the pony and wanted to go home we noticed some folks with a big camera waiting for something so I got curious and asked if they were waiting for something and they were. A line-up of about 80 trucks was gonna drive by with mentally challenged folks.

I took a few piccies myself:

And in the evening I baked pancakes.

The Trivial Pursuit

My neighbours have made a little urban garden as well. Or maybe the city council did. It looks like a standard council garden. Hope they'll put nice plants in it.

I was flabbergasted when I entered my tram this morning. It was totally EMPTY! WHAT? Yes, empty! Holy mother Mary and baby Jesus!

This building has reopened in to something. Dunno in what, possibly a hotel. It looks great!

When I went home this busker was playing at the ferry. Wasn't bad actually.

Everybody who gave him any change was allowed to take a cd. In it was a little paper explaining about the Amsterdam city council's stupid regulations on electrically amplified busking. It is stupid indeed...

At home I had a quick shower and then Marjolein arrived and we walked to Ruud and Laurien to have awesome dinner and play some trivial pursuit. Marjolein likes their cats ;-)

Marjolein, yours truly and Ruud. It was a fun night :-)

The building

My neighbours got themselves a urban micro garden as well. It looks like the standard council one. Not very stylish, like mine ;-) Very nice though, hope they'll put something nice in it :-)

This building all of the sudden came out of construction. It looks great! Wonder what its function is now...

Yum!

I really wanted to cook again. I bought ingredients for one of my favourite meals.

Potatoes, green beans (mashed :-P ), a meatball and apple sauce. I realise it doesn't look great but it makes up for that in flavour :-)

My newly painted bumper!

So, this is what they've been working on the past couple of days. My wall is darker coz it's still wet. It does look good I have to say.

Up, up, up. Shit that was hanging off of the wall has also been removed. It's nice and tidy again.

Around noon I went to my car. Finishing time! I put two coats of clear varnish on the bumper. It dried quick and then I took all the paper off. Beautiful!

Nice!

Lovely :-)

More on the paint-job on my Mustang-blog ;-)

I photographed this graffiti from the bus on my way home. Like it a lot!

I had dinner with the Mic's. Or the Mickey's, I dunno. Anyway, Noortje got a bicycle helmet and liked it better than her dinner...

Fan-mail

A fan sent me this today ;-)

I didn't make any pictures myself. I worked 10,5 hours straight and dealing with the builders was very frustrating and they stayed till 20:00. Thank god I have my apartment back again. Hope the outside wall will be OK tomorrow.

Happy birthday Ilse

This morning I dropped in to Nic's shop for the very last time as she's closing up and selling. Soon there will be a new girl working the shop. I picked up some things and handed in the spare key that I used to keep. It made me feel sad.

Then I couldn't do what I had planned to do which kinda sucked so I went to my family a bit sooner. Lovely Alkmaar noord.

I cuddled with Pip. She was very excited and playful. And stinky ;-)

Not sure about this photo. My family can never look normal. Especially never all at the same time!

This is Poema, one of Ilse's cats. She liked my lap.

And these birds hang on the fence outside. I like them.

In between dinner and dessert I went with Ilse to walk Pip. There is a whole "Dog walking subculture" I was totally unaware of. Kinda cool.

And there were horses too. This one had something on his nose.

This one didn't give a shit.

And this one came almost running towards me. Prolly thought I had food on me, tough luck ;-)
