My gear ;-P

I went shopping in the morning; Squash gear. It will be used on Monday.

The day turned unexpectedly nice so I went for a bicycle ride. Usually I sit on the other side of the bridge but my bench was occupied...

Mulligans in the evening. A good band was playing.

I can't stay up too long though so I went home soon after midnight. Walking the Leidsegracht.

The lasagna dinner

My watch needed some adjusting.

This is an old press close to my work.

I went for a short walk during lunch and I sat at the water a bit.

This is the Norman Trader lying next door.

I walked past the IJ-brewery on my way to Patricia.

I had dinner with Patricia and Martijn. She made a lovely lasagna and little cupcakes. It was a very nice evening :-)

The Conti Singa.

Today the biggest ship ever was docked next door. It's the Conti Singa from Germany and it's 242 metres long and 32 metres wide. More details here. It was so long that all traffic in the canal had to be stopped because it couldn't get through while turning this monster around...

On my way home I did man-shopping. Essentials only.

I have had a little box with four coasters in it for a long time now.

The coasters have Guinness ads on them and I like them very much. I have had them for almost 10 years but I have only recently started using them.

I put together a quick Sliver deck to kick my colleague's arses with ;-)

The hole.

I wanted to make a drawing about leaving Australia. It may be therapeutic, who knows. At the time it felt like everything I had went in to a gigantic black hole. So I started drawing but in the end I felt like drawing the hole behind me. I think that's a good sign...

I had dinner with mic and mickey and Yaan and noortje. It was very nice. Thanks guys :-)

The ship-tracker.

Firies in Amsterdam.

Ilse showed me a webpage last Sunday where you can track ships. There was a big one floating past.

And it showed up!

I cycled around Amsterdam tonight. I had to be fast and leave early because it gets dark so damn soon now and I have no light on my bike...

Nothing new.

First things first.

The big fat ferry is still there.

So is Carolien.

Crane.

The enchilada fest.

My living room looks nice.

I see this old dog walking past sometimes.

My family came over in the afternoon. Cassie helped me making the enchiladas.

This is one of the bad boys. I pile up so much that I can't actually roll them up anymore.

Ilse and Cassie after dinner. Completely stuffed.

My mom and dad, also stuffed.

I walked over to Mulligans after for a night cap and to get out of the house a bit.

The Sunday session was on as usual.
