The EYE

SCORE! I guess I have 3 movies to watch this winter :-)

Gerrit and I went to see a movie at the EYE film museum. First we had dinner there which was very enjoyable! Great food in a great place. Loads of little lights everywhere, great view over the water towards Central Station. The customer-base dresses very nice which is nice. All age groups etc. Very civilised place ;-)

The movie we saw was the new Coen Brothers movie.

I liked it but have seen better movies coming from them.

The EYE restaurant where we had a few beers after.

I also received some more Christmas cards today, nice :-)

Today was Friday and I went to work and when I got home in the evening I watched a movie. Unfortunately I didn't make any pictures all day, sorry! :-P

Want some shoarma with that garlic sauce?

Tonight I met up with Mic. We both could use a bit of a drink. Guinness for strength!

But also I was dying for some shoarma (kebab).

Mic was so kind to make sure I wasn't short of garlic sauce.

After dinner we went back to the pub, had a few more pints and then switched to whiskey. We tried a new one called Writer's tears and it was rather nice.

Nearly 28!

Not much going on today. Bit hazy still from yesterday. But in the evening I saw Diewertje and she made us pancakes and it was all good and nice :-)

Tomorrow is her birthday!

The penguin

On the ferry to work this morning.

In between the above picture and the next I had to hurt somebody that I love very much and therefore I also hurt myself. Under the circumstances it was the right thing to do though but bloody hell it was painful. I don't want to have to repeat this for a while :-(

I put some Christmas lights in my IKEA bonsai.

And we put some more lights around us.

I also put up the little baby Jesus scene that I have.

But, why is there a PENGUIN next to the shepherd???

The farewell

I had dinner with these two lovely ladies tonight.

Melissa and Nicole.

Nicole leaves to Adelaide tomorrow. Permanently. I hope things will work out for her finally. She's earned a lot of respect with the things she's done and the knowledge she's gathered over the past years.

Mustang!

I have started making a few plants for my close friend Eva.

Early arvo I went to check on my car and measure up a few things around the carburetor. When I got there the garage-lord left a pile of cookies for me on top of the car. he can't eat them all before their due-date ;-)

There she is. Getting wrapped in coz the garage is getting cleaned soon and I don't need the car to get any dustier than it already is.

Mustang! And also there is a little spider...

I visited my mom in the hospital in the evening. She received a new knee. Hopefully she can go home tomorrow.

My house is cozy now. My little Christmas tree helps a lot with that :-)
