I made a new selfie today. Fuck knows how I managed to squeeze out a smile. It must've been the sun coz I didn't really feel like smiling all day... I had lunch outside until it got too cold.
Crane at work.
After work I went to play squash with my mate Paul from work. he whooped my ass even though he was tired and has a fucked up knee. He's just awesome I guess ;-)

The champagne
A colleague of mine went to France last weekend and picked up some champagne. I bought 3 bottles of Grand cu, proper, real champagne. NICE! :-D
I played squash with my colleague paul in the evening. He hits hard. And sometimes against my arm ;-)
My racket gave up...

Yaan and Noortje
Breakfast at the ferry.
Leaving the house after work to meet Mic for dinner and squash.
Noortje is awesome. Very clever little girl.
Yaan is awesome too.
Mic got 1 set after I won 5. Sigh. He always does this!

The squash
(Click for very large photo)
Only one thing was important today: the squash tournament I organised at work. 18 players, 1 admin and a photographer went to the Frans Ottenstadion here in the dam. First we had dinner together and then we played games of squash against eachother. The last of the three hours was a knock-out tournament so that there would be one winner. My colleague Ivo won the trophy I showed on my blog the other day.
It was an awesome night and everybody seemed to have enjoyed it a lot. Good effort by all and if they allow me I'll do one again next year!

Squashed out
Some folks are stretching Christmas to the max...
In the evening I went to Mic for dinner before we played squash. Squash went well. My knee didn't hurt.

Good morning
I was having a pretty rough morning. I was very fast asleep, dreamed something really stupid and woke up with a headache and floppy legs. Thankfully it got better during the day.
I'm caring for my colleague Tanja's plant as well now while she's got holidays. It's only little still.
Björn was the reception window victim du jour.
This ship, the Ocean Orc can submerge a few metres and then lift stuff out of the water. That's why it's got this shape. Pretty neat!
I played squash with my colleague Paul today who kicked my ass to say the least, but not as much as he used to! His condition must have gotten really bad! ;-)
At museumplein they're preparing for the cultural festival "De uitmarkt".

The clock
Somehow I think they fucked up with the steps. I hope I'm wrong because I'd like to go in through the front again.

This monster was coming through on my way home. The grass field in front is an excellent place for a summer picnic.
I watered my garden for the first time properly. I love it!
And this is Mic's folks' garden. We'll be having a birthday party there Sunday.
Mic, Mickey and Noortje.
Mickey, Noortje and Joke.
Finally they hung up the clock we bought for them at squash court No. 7. Unfortunately we played at court 6 today...
Right after. It was soooooo hot...
Mic won today; 2-3.

The squash tournament
Tonight I organised a squash tournament for 21 colleagues and myself. It was real nice and everything ran smoothly. Eh?
My first game was the only one I won. I could blame it on the cold that I had on the weekend but others were often a lot better than me. Which is fine coz it gives me a challenge.

Action shot of my colleague Paul going deep to get the ball.
There were always a few people resting.
My colleague Tanja kept track of the scores. She did a fantastic job for which I am very grateful because I could not have done it myself.

The final was nuts. People were so tired after playing for nearly 3 hours (inc. breaks) that they were almost dropping dead. The people that made it in to the top 4 are very, very fit.
