After waking up slowly and doing some cross-training etc. etc. we went to the Central Market. Nicole looks like she forgot to put on any clothes except for her bag.
Since we were hungry and wanted some healthy food, we went to an Indian place she sometimes went to with colleagues about 15 years ago.
Paneer dosa. Absolutely fantastic and full of vegetables and paneer (aka cottage cheese). I could eat this any day.
We ended up in the actual market just before three o'clock not realising that the market starts to close down around that time. Luckily we got all our shopping done.

You talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?
I took Mason out for a spin around the block this afternoon. Well, a few blocks actually.
I get very scared when Mason takes this pose. In this case my fear was for good reason.
Caesar was barking a bit much today, clearly showing Mason not to play any tricks on him.
When I came home I was bitten by a bloody mosquito. They give my very big lumps...

School of (christian) rock
During my lunch I ran in to this group of christian rockers. It was a school band.
All I heard was "lord", "Jesus Christ", "Salvation" and "Saviour".
The drummer was good. The whole thing wasn't bad actually but I hate it when people try to force their religious bullshit on to me.
After work we had dinner at Henley. But not until we saw the sun set.
The sun was going down, and the moon was rising. The moon was actually so gigantic that even my camera could capture it.
On the way home we passed a car accident. It was a pretty big smash. Finally some real work for the firies.

Shopping
Inspired by one of my sister's previous blog posts we decided to take photos of the stuff we bought at the supermarket today.
Little yoghurts.
ZERO drinks coz I'm laying off the sugar.
Cow juice, coz I'm Dutch.
Salmon, coz it's healthy and very nice on a piece of (whole meal!) toast.
Feta cheese to be used in the bruschetta.
Mushrooms.
Whole meal bread.
Tomatoes, also to be used in the bruschetta.
Some crisps because I'm not a saint.
Knackwurst.
Very well spreadable butter made from olive oil.
Broccoli.

Same shit, different day
Toastie alarm, AGAIN! At the same place as yesterday!
My lunch, just like yesterday but with a dosa added to it. A dosa is a sort of pancake but made from rice-powder and lentils. That's a lot better than wheat flower.
In the evening I went to the doctor to get a prescription for some skin medication. I was the last person for the day.
After that we went shopping.

The Matar paneer
I got some Matar paneer for lunch today. This stuff has serious potential to turn me vegetarian. Of course I won't turn vegetarian but I am enjoying a lot more meat-less dishes these days which is a good thing in my opinion.
By the way, notice the beautiful Indian-Dutch combination of Paneer / papadum and milk :-)
The firies responded to another burned toastie alarm across the street today.
