Coffee with Gianna

I picked up Nicole from her work at noon. We drove straight down to the charcoal chicken where you get really good, charcoal grilled chicken. It's delicious and very lean because it's grilled.

I waited in the car.

Awesome view.

In the afternoon we went to Hahndorf. The view was better there.

We had coffee and cake with Gianna. It was nice to be out with her again and we had a nice time. In this photo, Gianna is doing her best Anne Frank impersonation ;-)

We went to Chocolate @ No. 5.

The line-up

I went out for lunch with three colleagues today to celebrate a successful end of the implementation phase of one of our biggest Adelaide projects ever. With plenty of unpaid overtime we have managed to get everything done on time. Not sure about budget though ;-)

Lunch was so good that I have skipped my dinner and am not even hungry and it's almost 10PM.

After work I waited for Nicole to pick me up.

We went to see the new Star Trek movie. It was the first Friday it was playing here and the line-up was pretty decent. Luckily we were at the front and we got decent seats.

The movie was fantastic. I will say no more not to spoil it for anybody :-)

Lunch time traffic.

I left work early today to have a few spots on my skin checked out by a skin specialist.

Everything was OK except for waiting an hour for my appointment.

Got asbestos?

Mason was a clever little bastard this morning (but i still love him ;-). His paws were dirty so he came to sit in between my legs facing away from me putting his paws on my legs (I had my legs stretched) above my feet. When It was time to leave he walked off, leaving big mud smudges on my pants. That's one way of cleaning your hands...

This is one of the toilets at work. Note the sticker.

The sticker says "CAUTION - The cavity behind contains asbestos - consult register". OK, fair enough, as long as it stay inside the wall.

However, when looking to the left we can see that the metal plate is not sealed properly and that due to wind inside the wall black shit is blown out which even gets stuck to the wall. Is this the asbestos we are warned for? I try not to use that toilet.

The Borg

Cocky-girl, pretty as ever.

Cocky-boy, always reminds me of a professional upper class drunk. I love him. This guy is over 40 years old.

Time to hit the streets.

Borg drones on their way to work.

Borg Cube.

Borg Queen.. oh no! It's Nicole ;-)

If you don't know what this is you haven't looked at my blog the past year ;-P

Beef masala.

I think I own the last Mulligans bomber jacket on earth.

Dinner.

New phone - new photos.

This is me seen from my new phone. I'm crispy!

Driving home after work. The sun is crispy too!

A shot while driving.

Another moving shot. Pretty good.

When we came home I was showing the phone to Tony. One of the doves was also very interested.

The walk

This morning we scored breakfast at Scoozi's.

I finished off with the best poffertjes in the world.

We went home to change clothes, then we filled up the car and then we drove to Larg's bay where we went for a little walk through the dunes.

It's a nice little trail with wooden bridges.

I was wearing my carrot pants. Unfortunately Nicole wouldn't allow me to wear a green t-shirt ;-)

Lots of other people were walking/running/cycling here as well.

There are Norfolk Pine trees along the side of the road here. They can get rather large.
