The mushrooms

Simone, Larissa, Milan and I went for a walk in the dunes today. The weather was soft for this time of year and there was a faint sun, pretty nice for a little walk  and some fresh air!

Just enough sun to keep the cold away.

We walked past an airstrip for gliders.

There were mushrooms everywhere.

And more mushrooms.

And little wild trees.

Walking in the dunes / beach

Today I went walking in the dunes with Marjolein. This is the area where we walked.

At the start there's a little lake. Kids dropped their ball in the water and dad was totally incapable of getting it out. Should've just dropped his pants and go in to get it...

Then we arrived at the beach.

The sky was soft and pretty.

Lotsa dogs were there as well.

It was a very nice afternoon. We had a drink at Bloemendaal after and dinner later as well. I was very, very tired when I got home.

Immigration : Ended.

Today marked the end of the last immigration stage. A 5 month period of bumming around has come to an end as I have started working again. Mixed feelings... But I ain't going back! :-)

During lunch time I walked around outside and explored. Believe it or not I had trouble finding a sandwich shop. I must've been blind or something. I found one in the end though.

The office hasn't moved yet so we're still cramped away in an old building that's really way too small. This is my view.

I have 2 screens now so I can work twice as hard! ;-) My desk is stuck between the manager's desk ad the wall. Thankfully he seems a good guy so I don't mind really. I do hope we'll move soon though...

Already today my 3 books from Amazon were dropped off. One is about making your own charcoal foundry (metaal gieterij), one is about making your own lathe (draaibank) using home made parts from the charcoal foundry and the third one is about making a small injection moulding machine (spuitgiet machine). This was also bought with the Amazon voucher my ex-colleagues from Furore gave me, thanks again guys! :-)
