The beach construction

The morning after.

At the beach they were preparing to construct the beach-bars again.

They're making big flat surfaces where the bars are going to be.

Marjolein's hair is getting longer :-)

It was cold, wet and windy at the beach and we had to wait FIFTY!!! minutes for the bus. That sucked dog's balls.

On the train home again in the middle of the night.

Public transport had stopped running by the time I got home so I walked. This is a cool corner building with a clock in it's tower.

The settlers

A new ship was docked next door. Even though those ships are often pretty big you can easily miss it when they put them in or take them out of the dock...

Another egg-surprise, this time from my colleague Geert.

It's cool.

In the evening I had a few friends over to play Settlers of Catan. A game usually lasts 1 or 2 hours. The game we playes started around 8 and was finished around 2. That's a 6 hour game. Rather insane... But it was a very nice evening and we laughed a lot :-)

The rain-maker

Sun rise from the ferry. It was a nice start of a nice day.

My colleague Sylvester nearly wet himself over the new kettle he ordered for work.

In the evening I took the train to see Marjolein.

She showed me a really cool thing called a rain-maker. It's a hollow cactus with the needles taken off and stuck inwards. Then it's filled with rice (or something) and closed off. When you tip it, it makes a beautiful sound. I was marveled by it :-)

They're working on the street around the corner of mine. It's actually a very busy part so they better get a move on.

The race track

This... thing, was sitting in front of me in the tram to work. I think it's absolutely shit. That's what I think.

In the afternoon the wind had picked up again.

I went to Mic after work and I stayed for dinner again. Here Yaan, Olf and Mic are working on Yaan's race track.

During our game of squash Mic hit my wrist but it's all fine. Not painful at all.

The RayJoy edition.

Raymond and Joyce visited today! It was very nice seeing them again. I studied with Ray and we're still in touch which is actually really nice :-) (I made them pose for the photo btw)

They brought me an awesome gift! It's one of these things that you can take apart but then have a hell of a time with to put it back together.

My raptor has now grown waist high. 8 days to go.
