Sloterdijk, the Crystal tower

A tower. I made photos while waiting for Simone to pick me up because we were going to IKEA, again! It must be done, there is no other way ;-)

The rugs

I found a facebook page that posts a lot of pictures of old cars. This is a Plymouth Duster.

We needed something from IKEA again that Haarlem didn't have. So we went to Amsterdam instead. They have a section with rugs and a sign explaining from where in Iran the rugs are coming. I wonder howmuch money the rug-makers make overthere...

They were cutting up a tree on my way to work. Maybe it was another victim of the storm that blew so many over recently...

Simone and I visited Ruud and Laurien to see how things were going with their baby girl Anne. It was a nice visit and everybody was doing very well :-)

Our last day at the camping

This morning I was sitting outside at 5:45. I had a cold and couldn't sleep anymore anyway...

The moon was visible very well.

No, this is not from the gay pride blog post. This is "camping-man" emptying the caravan loo...

We went to town one more time for some shopping and ice cream, just coz it's so fantastic! (The ice cream, not the shopping! :-) )

Simone's mom and Herman came in the afternoon and we had dinner together after which we left home coz tomorrow, we have to work again :-(

I had a great time here at the camping with Simone. I wish it would last for another week...

The camping animals.

Yesterday I picked up my big camera from home when we were in town. I wanted to be able to take better photos with all these cool animals running around here. So this morning I woke up at 6:30 and I was sitting outside in front of our caravan at 6:45. It was totally quiet and I loved it. Soon enough the first creatures showed up :-)

This bunny was the first one to appear before my camera.

And then I made my best shot like... ever! This squirel ran past and in to the tree. It stopped when it heard my camera and looked at me for a few seconds. Snap! Thank you little squirel!

When it left it stood still for a few seconds again.

This is how you normally see them coz they are very quick little critters.

It was getting lighter. Beautiful sky. I was so happy sitting there.

This little bird came to say hello. It wasn't scared for a bit!

This little guy came to sit quite close as well. Beautiful little bird.

I saw something reddish move from the corner of my eye and yes, the squirel was visiting a hole in a nearby tree.

In the afternoon we cycled to a place called Horst. We wanted to get to the beach. Accidentally we took the ferry thinking it would take us to the beach or something.

Instead it took us to a place called Zeewolde...

Well, there was beach there as well so that was cool. We spent a few hours in the sun and then cycled back. Lovely day.
