Visiting Nancy and Paul

I cleaned my micro garden of weeds a bit today. Fixed up the rose as well.

In the evening I visited Nancy and Paul, lovely people! They made really nice food too.

And they have cats. One of then liked me a lot.

Paul had to work a bit in the morning and went to bed around 1. Nancy and I were going to have just 1 more drink but then somehow ended up drinking and chatting till 5AM. That's always the best conversation ;-)

Happy birthday Tanja!

My colleague Tanja had her birthday today. She turned 25! ;-)

I was early for the ferry.

In the evening I went to Mulligans to be with friends. Everything went wrong. I left within the hour. It sucked and made me feel shit.

The jackhammer

Wakey, wakey! 7:25AM is was, when the jackhammer was started about 5 metres from my bed... Bastards.

They've started renovations on the houses around the corner.

And on the roof...

And this is what I found when I came home. Nice. I hope it gets cleaned up soon.

The rainbow

Sunrise over the IJ behind central Station. Today a part of the new metro tunnel is being lowered.

In the afternoon it rained really hard.

And then there was a rainbow.

Straight after work I went to town. I bought a book (Turks Fruit) and I ate chips with peanut sauce. To top if off I had 3 pints of Guinness in Mulligans. That was quite nice I must say. Better get back to the whisky now though ;-)

Coffee

I drank coffee. I needed coffee. Coffee needed me. My work needed coffee. I didn't need my work.

Dam tot dam 2012

Today there was a big run in town called the "Dam tot dam loop". One of my colleagues was running and I thought I'd go have a look. I never saw her! That was a bit crap to be honest... I did catch these guys running in suits though.

And these girls running like angels :-)

This is Catherine. The only cat Gerrit has that is not scared of me.

We went to get pizza at a new Italian resto. Was nice but they really need to get the normal chemical coca cola in instead of this bio-bullshit fake cola...

It rained hard on my way home. It was the first time ever the Choppermeister got this wet... Not amused!
