Town / The hat

Was in town briefly today. Lovely, lovely town. Unfortunately completely trampled and trashed by tourists...

Simone went hat shopping for tomorrow's concert. There is none for me but I wanted to see how it looked. I'm glad there is none for me ;-)

The excuse

The window

The window at work kept being sucked shut. So we invented something clever to keep it open ;-)

The terraces

Actually this was one of the few moments we used our phones ;-)

We hit a few terraces for dinner and drinks and we finished in Mulligans. I was tired by 10PM. Must be getting old...

The seminar

I had to go to a seminar for work today. Spent all day in a room with about 40 others...

I got home late coz traffic was insane. I really needed some fresh air and peace and quiet and I found all of it on a walk after dinner.

Zwanenburg

After work I went to my Mustang which resides in Zwanenburg. A little town with a bit of history.

This is the state my house is in. I'm glad it's sold.

Mother's day 2016

Early morning I drove to my mom for mother's day. There's a bridge in the freeway and yes, it opened... Ilse and Cassie were there as well, it was nice seeing them again.

Back home I painted the bad spot I treated yesterday. It went OK. You wouldn't notice if you didn't know ;-)
