Uleybury

Early afternoon we drove down to the Uleybury winery. We hadn't been there for a while.

Pizza action.

Pizza action result. Hmmmmmmmmm :-)

Me in my present state. Which is 10 kilo lighter than 10 weeks ago.

On our way home we drove in to town because Nicole had found another excuse to buy a new bag. This time one for her new laptop. Here she is in bag heaven :-)

After we came home, I played some warcraft with my headphones on. Through the sounds of the game I heard a loud noise. I looked at Nicole which confirmed my suspicion. When I walked towards the main road I found this.

That's two cars less for today. Nobody got critically injured thankfully and the tree looked OK as well. The guy from the last car was in a bit of a shock though.

And then the ambo (Australian for "Ambulance" (difficult word of course)) came.

And naturally the firies arrived soon after. At least they had some real work. It took ages for the police to show up...

The flying chickens

Early this morning our walnut tree was raided by a group of Sulphur crested cockatoos. They lurve the walnuts.

They were quite relaxed about me taking photos. I guess they kind of know that people don't climb in the tree anyway.

After I dropped off Nicole I went to the supermarket.

When I came home I was greeted by a card my mom and dad sent me.

The Borg Computer.

This parked next to us this morning, in front of the lights.

The air outside is crispy but when dressed properly, sitting in the sun is a joy, even in the winter.

There's always some form of lunch entertainment.

Apart from Nicole her new macbook being very powerful, it also looks really good. When the surroundings get a bit darker, it turns on lights under the keys.

PS: The reason it's so green is because of a lamp, it's actually alumin-i-um

The weird sky

My plant at work grew another leaf for me. I like my plant very much :-)

Lunch time.

When I left work the clouds and the sun were playing together creating strange colours and a rainbow, too.

This photo has NOT been modified. This is the sky as it was.

This was the sky while waiting for the bus.

Quite spectacular I thought.

The juggler

Morning sky.

Morning driving.

The sun was out during lunch.

And so were lots of people. Well, for this time of year anyway.

And yes! There was a FALSE fire alarm again. Out of the whole building only 12 people evacuated. I think the rest can't be fucked anymore. Very safe! The "fire starter" actually gets fined for setting off a false alarm. I would really like to know who does this all the time and how. What morons....

When Nicole came home she picked me up and...

... we drove to Cafe de Vili! Yes, I ate lots of bad stuff. But it was gooooooooooood :-P

On our way home we remembered I'm out of milk. Can't have that so we went past the super market where Nicole juggled with oranges a bit.

The Borg!

Having to deal with medical refunds just by using paper cheques is not primitive enough. They also can't send the cheque to the right person. They sent it to me. And then I have to bring it to the person who actually provided me with a service. There's quite a way to go for information technology in this country.

Anyway, keeping your office open is also not easy apparently...

I watched THREE episodes of Star Trek today, because I had the day off :-)

And finally, in season two, episode 16, the Borg show up! Yeah, I love the borg...

The spam

We are all familiar with email spam but in World of Warcraft people have to be more inventive. Some spammer created a lot of characters and got them killed in one of the capital cities in a such a way that the corpses make up a website address. Repulsive behaviour but very skilfully executed...
