The doors

This whole weekend I'm working on 4 new doors for upstairs. I have to paint them and put them in and it's taking longer than I thought. Today I painted the bottom and hinge-side so I could hang them at the end of the day. Well done sofar in my opinion.

The farm

Tonight Simone and I visited Raymond and Joyce. They live close by this farm in which I lived for 3 years. In the room behind the left window of the front-house to be exact. I had a great time here. This was about 20 years ago :-)

We had a fun night with Ray and Joyce and a wonderful dinner too! And of course I had to check out their little Fiat 600 oldtimer. Lovely little car in which, how surprising, I fit very well!

The fish

When I have enough time waiting for the bus, I go here to enjoy the early morning silence. There are also big fish in the water doing blub blub blub...

About the most exciting thing today: I leved up in Pokemon Go. Wow.

The check-up

This afternoon I drove my Mustang to the garage for its biannual inspection to see if it's road-worthy. I have this done at a garage 500 metres away from where I'm parked by a man old enough to have worked on cars like this when he was young :-)

I'm happy with this man working on my car. He takes his time, I've made sure that I have plenty of time and he lets me watch and learn as he checks things.

It was all good except for the tyres, which he put some air in. One of my headlights was set too high, which he adjusted. And I had huge amounts of CO in my exhaust fumes. So he adjusted my carb to get it down from 7.28 to 3.50%. Nice! And he didn't charge me anything more for it. Super!

After a small drive I went back home using the train so I had to walk to the station which wasn't bad coz the weather was awesome.

At the station I conquered a gym with a tiny Pokemon. It was funny but now I know how to battle ;-)

The beach house

Time for some DIY again. I re-sealed around the bathroom tap because it was getting inside the wall.

Later Simone and I drove to the beach. Pikachu was there as well ;-)

We had a lovely lunch at the beach. Great weather.

Some folks own or rent a tiny beach house. That lets you live ON the beach. Not my thing but it looks cool.

The walk

We went for a nice walk again today. We hadn't walked for a while. I like these walks very much.
