Congratulations dad, Tanja and Patrick!

Milk, fruit, fish, bread, sugar, meat and nuts (kinda ;-). And the Saturday paper!

I went to my colleague Tanja's wedding today.

Tanja and Patrick looking great.

The ceremony was on a boat in the canals of Amsterdam. Fitting because Tanja is an Amsterdammer. It's also always fun to be on a boat I think :-)

The skinny bridge opened and closed for her wedding and another one that was on another boat (which you can just see on the right). It's apparently a council gesture. Very nice!

Patrick and Tanja as a married couple.

My colleague Ira was there as well. She doesn't usually wear a dress but it looked good! Cheers :-)

Floating around Java Island.

Nice colourful new apartment buildings there.

After three hours we docked again and Tanja and her family drove off in the limo.

Thanks Tanja and Patrick for letting me on your boat! :-)

After the wedding I took a train to Alkmaar because it was also my dad's wedding. Happy birthday dad!

The blackberry in my folks' garden is doing very well!

It was a busy and tiring but fun day :-)

The container

A ships bigger than most apartment buildings...

This is how our neighbours move a container.

A second nile geese pair with babies arrived today. Very cute.

When I came home I immediately got on my cross trainer for 20 minutes. Then I had a cold shower for another 20 minutes. I then cooked dinner and around 8 I took the tram in to town to do some clothes shopping.

After shopping I accidentally found myself in the pub...

It's summer and the heating in the tram was ON!!!! I asked the driver to turn it off and he started pressing buttons on the touchscreen but he failed to turn it off as it turned on again later. Nuts!

Waiting for the ferry.

I had spinach for dinner, those frozen blocks. I eat half a packet in a meal. It's a real bitch to open these packets, they never tear the whole way...

After dinner I took the Choppermeister for a spin.

... and ridin'.

... and sittin'.

I came across this awesome office building at the RAI. I love how it looks!

Quick photo stop in town.

The Sting concert

I worked from home today. When I went out to get lunch I saw these little guys. They'll be fierce one day!

Tonight I went to the Ziggo Dome with Marjolein to see Sting.

It's a brand new concert hall and I love it! The sound is very good and so are the facilities. Lots of bars and food stalls on 2 sides of the venue.

Waiting for the show to start, someone had brought balloons. Was actually a good idea.

And then the show started. There was no support act which was nice. They played all his old hits and some Police stuff too. It was a show well exceeding my expectations I have to admit. But that's a good thing!

Marjolein brought her camera (after scaring me out of bringing my own! :-P ) and made this awesome photo of Sting. Great shot.

The Nile geese family

Sylvester brought apple pie for his birthday. YAY! :-)

The Nile geese family is still complete. They've got a lot of mouths to feed. I wonder how they keep track of who they've fed...

My dinner was quite nice and simple.

The Leidse bosje

Early evening I walked down to the Leidse bosje and took pictures of the big trees there. The light wasn't very good though.

There is this hidden statue of a man cutting the tree. I like.
