The cake, the rainbow, the hygrometer, the mold!
A colleague brought birthday cake to work, yessah!
The weather is still shit but at least there were rainbows.
My hygrometer arrived today. I need to know the humidity in my garage because...
There is mold growing on certain shelves. Since there is currently zero ventilation I have the feeling the humidity is way too high...

Inside the sugar silos
Nothing beats a cuppa in the morning :-) This is how I start my working day, every day!
In the evening Simone and I went to a sample sale in the old sugar silos. The view was cool, the clothes were not.

I see 85! - Diet end
First time under 86 today! Well, since I was like 17 or so I think...
My weight has been a bit wobbly the past few weeks because of all the festivities. I weigh myself every morning and I also check differences in body fat and muscle mass. It's fascinating (not to mention confronting!) to see what happens when you eat a lot of snack during the evening, or 8 pieces of cake in one week. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with having dropped so much and managing to keep it after our vacation. I think I can officially call this diet closed now :-)
And because it's world animal day, here's a photo of Silver who's still the best cat I've ever had.
And this is Snicker who is... well, it's a rabbit, what can I say? I love him too though for I love all animals :-)

The stencil
The view from the office was very clear today. Nice skies!
In the evening I went for a 70 minute walk. It was grey and getting dark.
I liked this stencil a lot :-)

The painting.
Today marks the start of my last blogging month. I'm quitting at exactly 10 years of blogging. I'm sure I'll explain more when that times comes in a few weeks...
For now: enjoy the last few weeks :-)
So, already at 9AM I continued where I left yesterday: making coffee in my garage again :-)
I planned a BIG day there today to finally get some stuff done.
I started painting the side walls. I have to go quite high (3,75 metres) and thankfully my neighbour "bottle cap"Fred let me use his ladder.
I took advantage of this by painting the whole 5th slab. I can do the lower ones using my own little ladder.
Here's a pic of my little oak tree. I'm wondering if I should turn it into a bonsai or something...
