Happy birthday mom!

This morning I drove my car to a DIY-garage. You can rent a car-lift and get dirty. I needed to change the first 2 pieces of my exhaust: the front pipe and the catalytic converter.

Lucky for me the chief wasn't too busy and he offered to help me a bit. He had years of experience replacing exhausts so that was cool. Appears he also seen me around Mulligans a few times, my local watering hole. Together we got the job done in 90 minutes, this includes taking it apart once due to a leaking connection. I saved a few hundred euros doing it this way and my car doesn't make that rattling noise anymore :-)

In the evening we visited my mom and dad coz it was my mom's birthday.

Cassie and Ilse were there as well and we had a very nice time :-)

The work views

The weather was great today which made for lovely views. I managed to fix all of yesterday's issues and I got to order free lunch which was pretty good!

I spotted my old office from when I worked at Furore. I had good times there too.

My day wasn't too bad

This kinda shows what kind of day it was today. I missed a bus, had to walk to the 17th floor coz the elevators were offline due to fire alarm, had to navigate and fix three very, very urgent problems at work, walked through the pouring rain on my way home, walked through the still pouring rain to the dentist to get a filling replaced, got there too late (my bad), got a teeth clean-up as a bonus which was worse than the filling andwhen I got home the only good thing happened: I ate indian leftovers. Then I crashed on the couch, watched a fun movie and that's it. Amen.

My exhaust-pipe pieces arrived today. I want to do the work myself coz having a garage do it will cost me 300 easy.

I received Eva's baby card! Eva is now mother of Emma! We still have to go visit her...

I read a book about naive art, specifically naive art of Amsterdam. It was interesting but it didn't take very long before I wanted to close my eyes ;-)

Back at work after Christmas holidays

First day back at work again. Nothing exciting going on. No pictures either, sorry.

Happy birthday Simone!

Today my lovely girlfriend has her 40th birthday so I bought her 40 roses and a nice ring. I made her breakfast in bed and later in the afternoon her mom took us all out for dinner. It was a very nice day! :-)
