It was a glorious day.

I went out for lunch with Nic today. As we walked in to town I spotted this butcher called "Koopman". I'm not related.

Blood on the Israeli flag. Because Israel is a shit nation that doesn't belong in that place a single bit!

I needed to calm down after that Israel shit so I got ice cream. Very nice ice cream too I have to say.

Nicole enjoying her ice cream on one of the canals. It was glorious weather.

We had lunch at a place called "Lust". I dunno but I think service and quality have definitely not improved while I was out of the country...

A few shops down is an amazing cheese shop. Except that they advertise FIVE year old cheese from the year 2008 in the year 2010. I dunno...

Lovely canal views everywhere.

A small street.

The smallest canal of Amsterdam, I believe.

The inside of the church called "De krijtberg". I love the serenity inside churches.

Kids. What's wrong with teenagers these days? or actually, what's wrong with their hair these days? And why do they look like they shop in a trash bin?

Yes, Holland has a team in the soccer world cup...

The baby-boom.

Walking to work in the morning I saw this little family close to my home.

Closer to work I saw another family.

I bought these dishwashing brushes at IKEA for my colleague Sylvester.

Todays lunch was on the house.

Yesterday they painted the background when I walked past, today they were shooting for something. A movie? An article? It's about pizza delivery guys...

The picture present.

This is very Amsterdam house moving. The picture isn't very clear but it's a house-boat being towed.

For some reason there were a lot of seagulls tailing the ferry in the morning.

Mid morning we were all called downstairs. My colleague Harold got very excited.

ChipSoft's employees wanted to thank the board for taking us on the skiing trip last Easter. So we all pitched in and gave them...

A picture of all of us on the Zell am See station in our jackets printed on glass. It's mounted on the wall in our lobby. They were very surprised and they loved it.

The picture.

Early arvo the ice-cream van came by again. Mmmmmhhh.

I sat in the sun while waiting for the ferry.

Beating the masses at Central station. I feel like a salmon swimming up stream sometimes there...

A boat, a car and a bird.

Some boats are slightly bigger than my ferry...

One of my colleagues drives a muscle car ;-)

The geese have returned after being somewhere else for a week. Their baby has grown a lot. It's losing its fur now and actually grows feathers.

It's red.

Coffee in the morning. I stayed home because the cable-guy was dropping in to look at my non-functional cable connection. It appeared that my line and the line for No. 26 were crossed. After un-crossing them my connection was fine :-)

I walked to the shops. Someone in my neighbourhood has a lot of pretty yellow roses.

A random shot in my new hood.

My couch and my didgeridoo with stones from Australia on the shelf above it.

In the evening I went to eat at Waga's with Nic and SW.

We were going to see a band play but were very disappointed to find out that there was first 2 hours reserved for 2 other bands which was never mentioned. So we left and had some drinks on a terrace in town and a lot of laughs. It was more fun than waiting around for the concert.

Bye bye old place.

Contrary to my planning I went to work today afterall. I was s'posed to work from home today but that's kinda hard without internet...

I spotted this really bright coloured flower on my way home.

In the evening I met with my landlord at the old place to end the contract and discuss a few loose ends.

Moving house, the day after.

First thing I did today was putting away 6 loads of rubbish. Mostly cardboard and plastic. IKEA love... Then I started putting a wardrobe together but I needed to use the hammer and it was only 10AM. I didn't want to scare the neighbours so I went to my old place and cleaned it inside and out. It was pouring with rain...

I emptied my fridge there and also found a few other left items that I took back home with me.

When I came home it was already afternoon so hammering was fine. There is my finished wardrobe. It's only a small one but I have 2 of them. Only 1 is put together for now though. Because I have to work fast I am unfortunately not able to make any pictures for my creative blog :-/

I organised the mess a bit better so the place can be used a bit more.

That's my new chair from which I plan to control the world at some point.

The living room is a bit emptier now as well.
