On my way to work I was greeted by the Swan family. The kids are getting big now but their wings are still little. I guess they are the least important part to grow right now.
Docked crane ship next door.
This is my camera equipment. So far I'm very happy with my new zoom lens (left most).
During lunch I went for a small walk with Paul to test the lens.
Lens testing pictures below :-)
On my way home I spotted some other bird families. This is one of the Grebe families. 2 babies are left out of the original 4.
Young Nile geese.
The "Psycho Cowboy" submarine.
My ferry.

The new lens
Our neighbours have a new guest.
This guest's been there a while now I believe.
I made pancakes for dinner.
On my way home I bought a new lens for my Sony Nex.
18-200mm, 3.5-6.3 OSS.
18... (no zoom)
200... (max zoom)

The cameras
So, came home last night from Edinburgh and went straight to work today. There were changes at my work that made me quite happy.
Anyway, I forgot to make photos so I made one of my new Sony Nex-C3 and my old Nikon Coolpix 8800. I have been using the Nikon for about 8 years and with great joy I must say. Unfortunately I dropped it in France and it fell down 2 metres and got damaged beyond repair.
The Nex is a great replacement. It's like a SLR but without the mirror-box. The pictures are of great quality, also in low light due to the big sensor inside. It's also very fast. The auto focus as well as starting up from stand-by. Much faster than the Nikon.

I took my camera out for a spin today. Just to play with it a little bit.

Late afternoon I went to the pub to meet Gerrit for a few pints and some dinner. In the pub we discovered a book covering the 100 best bars in town. Mulligans is in it with a photo. And guess who's in the photo? Marjolein is! :-)

Pancakes with Eva
This is my new camera, the Sony Nex-C3. It's very small and very big at the same time :-)
This is my friend Eva where I had dinner tonight. We made pancakes. Some with bacon and some with cheese and some with salami and cheese. The latter ones were surprisingly nice!

This is a massage salon around the corner.
