First things first. Tonight the local soccer club from my birth-town is playing to become champions of The NL for this year. They're beating Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord.
AZ! Retteketet!
In the morning I did 45 minutes of cross training.
My lunch. It was a microwave meal but a very good one. Lots of veggies.
I'm all in to Facebook these days.
I did some studying as well.

Another long day at the office
We woke up bloody early this morning because the wind was shaking our trailer. I was happy to sit in the quiet surroundings of the park during lunch.
Grenfell street on my way back.
Suddenly, 5 hours later it was really time to go home.
I had the feeling I was being watched.
Nicole was kind enough to pick me up so I waited in front of the door.
The view across the street.

I was happy to see my plant again :-)
I walked the last bit to work this morning. It's nice to stretch your legs a little bit before sitting your ass down the rest of the day...
I was worried about my plant because I forgot to put it in the window before I left for the long weekend. But it was doing OK. It just keeps growing.
Early morning outside of our window.
I made a cuppa joe and I noticed coffee 'levels' on my spoon. The spoon is really just there for decoration. There's no sugar to stir anymore these days...
I had Matar Paneer in the park for lunch.
I stayed longer at work because of more unexpected surprises in software I deal with. It was dark when I left.
The sun waving at me with the last few rays of light from the East.
We went shopping. Needed teepee.
My new passport arrived safe and sound.
It was accompanied by a letter on orange paper. They also made clear I can not have dual citizenship if I wanted to.
My mom and dad's Easter card arrived as well. Thanks guys :-)

The river trip
We drove down to the river today for a quick visit. Along the way the result of a long and extremely warm summer was noticeable.
Everything was dried up and brown.
We drove through little downs with merely more than a pub.
The river was beautiful and peaceful.
But it's dying fast. The water level used to be 30 cm under the floor of the jetti 7 years ago. The water level has actually gone down more than 50cm in the last year alone. It's being sucked dry by industries upstream producing shit that's non-native to Australia in places that obviously don't have enough water by themselves.
Enjoy it while it lasts my friends...
Adelaide also uses water from the Murray as a source of drinking water. It's very clever. Adelaide is right next to the ocean, but instead of desalinating and using that water they created a pipeline kilometres long...
At least our reservoirs are reasonably well filled.
