More holes

There was more hole-drilling today. This time to wall-mount two TV's. 2x8 holes in hard concrete. I put cotton wool in my ears which helped a lot against the noise I hate so much.

The new lunch

The Christmas tree in front of Central Station is up again. Very nice.

On my ferry there was this woman who was quite happily throwing balls around. She kept her helmet on, the whole thing looked quite bizarre...

Today is the last time we can order these kinds of lunch items since next week we'll be at the new office.

The above and the below have been my Friday afternoon staple for a year now. I just love that food. It's been such a lovely break on the last working-day in the week.

This is one of the things we can get at the new office. It's the ONLY "snack" you can get there. It's very nice though! There's salami, mozzerella and red onion.

The Christmas tree opposite the street was put up again, too. Christmas must really be coming. Doesn't feel like it with everything going on at the moment. Toooooo busy.

I watched the Masterchef Finale at home. Georgia won, a little bit to my surprise actually.

And then Simone and I went out and I bought her one of these for her birthday (which is early Januari). She bought another one herself as well so we have two in the house now.
Great sound!

The master chefs / 3000

I got mail.

This was in it :-)

Then I had to quickly see the dentist for a check-up.

Then I rushed home to watch part 1 of the Masterchef Australia 2015 finale. I love this show so much. I am blown away with the things they cook and the incredible skills they grow. But also the kindness of the judges. It's wonderful and lovely and.... it's about food!

The judges.

Billy.

Georgia.

And in other news, this is my 3000th post on my blog. What a milestone!

Heerhugowaard is not getting its own hospital afterall. Oh no!

Today is Wednesday December 9th and I made zero pictures. Nothing much going on ayway. My dad phoned me in the evening to let me know thay are not building a hospital in Heerhugowaard. I have no words... Oh and the director of Alkmaar's hospital is leaving to enjoy his pension which was distressing to some folks. Yes, I'm thrilled to know...
Oh, and there was also some news about my mom.

He forgot to ask me if we got any new clients at work so we skipped that part. If you're reading this dad: yes, we have a new client! Can't tell you about it yet though, sorry ;-)

The biggest Christmas tree

I took this screenshot of the city council's website. It's an article of the new ChipSoft HQ that I'll be moving into next week. During this holiday season it's the "city's biggest Christmas tree". Nice!

The article is in Dutch. Click image to read.

Happy name-day if yours is today :-)

Tonight we had Simone's family over for Sinterklaas dinner. We said "no surprises" but some people just can't do that so I got this lovely smelling gift :-)
