The game / The ginger beer

We watched Milan play his Saturday baseball match. It was great to watch and the end was spectacular. His team needed 4 points to win, Milan was first up and he managed to get to base 1 and by the time the next batter hit it he stole his way to third. He scored a point when the ball was hit.

Then, with 2 bases occupied by the next two after Milan, the third one hit a home run and the next three points were scored. Awesome :-)

When shopping at the local supermarket I ran into Bundaberg ginger beer! This is a very Australian thing. Served cold it's actually very nice!

The construction, day 2.

Ahhhh, the construction is moving forward pretty fast! The only downside is that they have made a make-shit construction area right next to my desk which gets pretty noisy at times... Small price to pay for future peace and quiet ;-)

This was made in the morning.

In the afternoon I had a workshop at the old office so I used to opportunity to photograph a ship from the neighbour's dock.

The construction, day 1.

A small helicopter flew by my window at work. No idea what it was doing and I wonder if they knew themselves...

And OH JOY! They have started working on the walls in my office. They're going to make us seperate office spaces. Thank fuck, soon I won't have to listen to a couple of colleagues that talk and talk and talk aaaaaaall the time!

In the evening I met up with Ruud again finally and we played a few games of chess which he both won, of course ;-)

Putting it out the trash

Early evening I quickly visited my Mustang to drill one of the bolts a bit and to make this photo. I'm not sure if I should use that both that O-ring AND the gasket...

When I came home I could finally put all the trash out that i had collected, making more room again, working my way to leaving this place in a few months :-)

Keeping my mom company

I visited my mom today. She had one hip replaced a few weeks ago and didn't want to be home alone since my dad had to perform with his choir and Ilse and Cassie were going to listen. I didn't mind and gladly drove up to keep my mom company. We played scrabble and chatted a bit. Later my dad, Ilse and Cassie came back and we had dinner together. It was a nice afternoon.
