The second proteine diet, day 19 / The BLØF concert

Looking towards the red light district. Amsterdam is just a beautiful little city.

I went to a concert of a Dutch band called BLØF together with Simone, Danielle and Erik.

The place was completely sold out.

They had a lot of guest performances which I liked a lot! The first one was by Miss Montreal.

The second guest was Mr. Probz.

It got even better when Rowwen Hèze also came on stage. They're a Dutch party band. Very refreshing music :-)

And then it was time for the 4th guest, the lead singer Joshua from the Dutch band Chef'Special. I recognised the song but I have no clue apart from that ;-)

The decor was done really nice. Great lighting. I particularly liked the big square above the stage where they showed close-ups of the artists.

Then Miss Montreal came back.

And Rowwen Hèze came back, too. Good stuff!

But the biggest and coolest surprise was when The scene's lead singer Thé Lau joined. His days are numbered due to cancer. His band "The scene" finished their last concerts last summer and I thought I'd never be able to see him.

They did quite some songs together.

This man will go on until he drops.

BLØF with guests: Mr. Probz, Miss Montreal, Rowwen Hèze, Chef'Special and last but not least Thé Lau.

I had a great evening :-)

I finished my Christmas tree at work.

It's not quite the same as the one they put up in front of Central station...

The second proteine diet, day 17. (< 100, YAY!)

YES! Today I weighed under 100 Kilos for the first time in.. I seriously can't remember! 20 years or more I reckon... This is a very big breakthrough for me! Very happy :-)

Simone, Milan and I went for a walk in the evening. It wa very windy and very dark and also quite cold. But it was a good walk :-)

The second proteine diet, day 16.

I'm done playing Wordfeud. It was fun but it starts to feel like an obligation more and more.

My colleague Sylvester had his 12,5 year anniversary with the company today. He brought us cake, which I couldn't eat, again :-(

Instead I had lunch from a packet again. It wasn't bad; chicken curry with noodles.

Water was frozen this morning. First time this winter.

When I got to the ferry after work I noticed a new bit of construction. I wonder if it's going to be a new terrace for the IJ-kantine or a new ferry dock...

So yeah, still doing the diet. Nothing special. Forgot to take any photos today, sorry 'bout that folks.

The second proteine diet, day 13.

I went to my car this arvo. It was shitty weather.

I wanted to check the oil level inside the tranny but that needs to be done with the engine running. Unfortunately I flooded it (I think) by putting in the choke plate. It wasn't firing and now the battery is nearly dead. I looked at the oil level anyway but i don't think this is very accurate...

I did fix the speedometer (I hope) but in the end I didn't get much more done...

On my way home I had to wait for half an hour to catch the right bus. I bought a cuppa joe and waited inside and got a bit warmer.
