Raymond and Joyce

I finished the pies in the morning so they'd be solid when I'd take them to Ray and Joyce.

This picture was in Volkskrant magazine. I couldn't stop laughing. It says: "So, what it comes down to, is that your mommy is basically a bit of a slut". "Okay...". "Clear..."

Raymond and Joyce. it was very nice to see them again. We made a cheese fondue, it was my first time ever.

Back at Central Station, waiting for my ride home.

Some poor fella got hit by a tram. Not very cool but it wouldn't surprise me if he cycled through a red light and had no light on his bike... I wonder.

The bird feeding lady

This lady is feeding the birds every morning. I had 2 leftover slices as well so I helped and said hello. Think she's from South America somewhere.

My dinner was a sheep/goat's cheese and bacon salad. I put a drizzle of honey over it.

I'm making 3 mini chocolate-caramel pies. Have to finish tomorrow coz half the cream I need for the chocolate has gone off in the shop :-(

My desk today

This is my desk at work today. My colleague Tanja wasn't there today so I was all by myself. No like.

The cat

They've started making the foundation next door.

After work I met up with Ruud for drinks and dinner. We ate at St James' gate where we saw this cat.

The booze

There was a little spider in the toilet at work.

Tanja (and Patrick!) gave me the nicest surprise! A bottle of BOLS peppermint AND (half) a bottle of Ballantine's. I like! :-) Thanks guys!

The champagne

A colleague of mine went to France last weekend and picked up some champagne. I bought 3 bottles of Grand cu, proper, real champagne. NICE! :-D

I played squash with my colleague paul in the evening. He hits hard. And sometimes against my arm ;-)

My racket gave up...

To grow or not to grow...

I had a really lazy day today. My mom and dad came over for coffee which was very nice. Then I quickly went to say hi to Nicole in her shop (and have cake and coffee). Nicole has nice new plants but one of them broke and i took the branch home. Gonna see if it will root.
In the evening Eva came over to eat boerenkool (kale) with me and finish my wine. It was very nice seeing her again :-)
