Mom in the hospital again / Dinner with Simone

It's not quite what I'm used to :-( Dunno what to do with my iMac at this point. I'm thinking of trading it in for a smaller one maybe...

I went to see my mom in the hospital. Some bacteria got in to her wound and it needed to be re-opened. She's on anti-biotics now. It's not nice for my mom :-(

Simone met me at my mom's in the hospital and then we went to the beach. We watched the sun set for a bit and then went to look for a restaurant.

Isn't she lovely? ;-)

Dinner was fun and relaxing, great food too, especially the desert was nice!

My mate Luke in Australia is the first one to ever Bitstrip me. I could not have wished for a better one. It's only funny to me and Luke though :-)

Whopper glasses. Work took us to the cinema. Tanja and I go there together most of the time. Work has been hard on both of us, it was a nice break.

Major fuckery

So my iMac is kaputt. Diagnostics told me something was kaputt but not exactly what.

I tried playing with the RAM, no use.

I re-installed OS X, no use.

Still fucked up graphics. Grrrrrr...

Compu'er says "noooo"...

My iMac has been broken since Yesterday morning. I now have 27" of fucked up graphics card by the looks of it. Not pleased. Blogging on an old Win XP machine is hellish.

My colleague dave had his birthday and brought us cake. Nice!

I went for a walk in the Amsterdamse bos (Amsterdam forrest) with Simone and her kids. The weather was great.

In the evening Marjolein came over for dinner and afterwards we went to Mulligans. Jon, Alex and Kees were there as well. We laughed a lot :-)
