The airplanes

We drove past the airport today on our way to a very large shopping mall. The airplanes have to taxi over the freeway which is always interesting to see.

Happy new year to all my blog's readers! Did you have a good new year's eve last night? I did!

We took it easy today. Except in the afternoon when we decided in a hurry to go do the new years dive in to the sea. Yes, it is winter and we dive in to the sea. It's all cool. Except that I couldn't find my trunks and so I was kept on clothes guarding duty while Simone and Milan went in to the very cold water!

There were a LOT of people attending...

Basically you get ready and when the clock strikes 15:00 (in our case) you run in to the sea, dive in and get out again, unless you love cold water, then you stay longer...

Simone and Milan are today's heroes :-)

Bye bye 2015

Today, is fireworks day! ;-)

Unfortunately this also means that arseholes will try to blow up whatever they can and shops sometimes have to barricade their windows...

We celebrated the new year at home with Simone's mom and Herman which was very nice. After midnight Milan was lighting fireworks for us and we hung out with the neighbours. Nice little evening together.

The ice sculptures

Today we visited the ice sculptures in Zwolle, a 1.5 hours drive from Amsterdam. When we got there we found out that there was a 90 minutes wait to get in so we went into town first to get some lunch.

When we returned about 2 hours later, the wait was "only" 45-60 minutes. Since we drove all the way for this we got in line and waited. It wasn't too bad in the end and what we saw inside was worth the wait!

We played a boardgame in the evening which was fun. This is Milan's car. I like the photo.

The puter has also moved!

We moved my computer over yesterday. I like.
